Hello bloggers, I believe everyone has had stage fright at least once in their entire life. I think you would be lying if you said you haven’t? It`s a very common and natural thing to experience during moments in your life where you’re in front of a big crowd and the spotlights on you. People get nervous in these moments. Some worst then others this is normal reaction right? I feel stage fright is caused from the individual being insecure with them self. I`ll admit I have experienced stage fright before. It`s embarrassing and it just sucks you have any tips to avoid getting stage fright? Please do share.
I agree with the point that people do get stage fright. You get really nervous just before you start your presentation. I figure that once you start the presentation you manage to get through it pretty fast. It’s not necessarily a good thing. Once you get through the first couple of slides then everything goes well. The one thing that is hard to do is not look at the note. You can know the material off the top of your head but you still end up reading off of your notes. I think it’s more of a security thing than anything else.
ReplyDeleteI appriciate your view. I also agree with your statement that once you get by the very few words alot of your nerves calm down. I think everyone can agree stage fright is caused by the indvidaul being insecure with themselves. if they had confidence they wouldnt get nervous. Does anyone have tips on how to avoid stage fright? Please share!

ReplyDeleteI`m just wondering where does stage fright come from. Does the individual have it in his/her jeans, meaning they are born with it because maybe there parents had stage fright when they were younger? Or is stage fright caused from the individuals mind, and how they think? Is stage fright controllable?
